Every reasonable effort will be made by the Office of Public Safety to ensure that a learning environment is maintained at the college, while enforcing the rules of Bluefield State and the laws of the polity without prejudice or bias within a diverse society. By virtue of West Virginia state law, Campus Police Officers have the same responsibilities and authority as that of any other law enforcement officers in the state. Officers provide patrol protection to the campus as well as enforce all applicable state and local laws. BSC Email An email will be sent out to all Bluefield StateHigheremail accounts. BSC Emergency Alert System In an effort to increase safety and security on our campus, Bluefield StateHigherencourages everyone to register for instant text message, email, and/or phone alerts. Alerts will only be used for security, safety, and weather-related notices. All students, faculty, and staff are eligible to receive text message alerts on their lamina phones or email alerts.
