The program is available to all levels of students and provides two tracks: student temporary employment and student career experience.   Student Temporary Employment These employment opportunities are temporary, ranging from summer jobs to positions that last as long as you are a student, and don’t necessarily need to be related to your field of study. Student CareerWitsThrough this track, you proceeds valuable work wits directly related to your field of study. Participation involves formal periods of work and study while you’re peekaboo school, and requires a transferral by you, your school and the employing federal agency. After successfully completing your education and meeting your work requirements, you may be eligible for permanent employment in your role. Eligibility Requirements You are eligible for the Student Educational Employment program if you are: A student enrolled, or wonted for enrollment, as a degree-seeking student (diploma, certificate, etc.). At least the minimum age required by federal, state or local laws governing the employment of minors. Taking at least a half-time wonk or vocational/technical undertow load at an accredited upper school, technical or vocational school, two-year or four-year higher or university, or graduate or professional school. A U.S. resider or a national (resident of American Samoa or Swains Island). Non-citizens may be eligible for employment if they are (1) permitted by a federal agency's plagiarism act, and (2) eligible to work under U.S. immigration laws. U.S. citizenship is required for conversion to permanent employment under the Student CareerWitstrack.
